Declan Connolly Managing Partner
Declan qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1979, post university qualifications in finance, management and business studies.
He has worked in the transport, logistics and travel industries for more than 30 years, graduating to finance directorships, and most recently as managing director for a division of DFDS with responsibility for 1800 staff.
He decided to set up his own accountancy practice in 2005 to apply both his accountancy skills and extensive business background to supporting local businesses. The practice has a solid reputation for excellent service and very personal partner-led contact which have remained Declan’s top priorities as the practice has grown and developed.
Declan is chairman of a large PLC pension scheme, a post he has held for the last 14 years.
Clare Lineham Practice Manager
Clare started her career in practice in 1999 where she started studying towards her AAT qualification. She then moved to a top 20 firm and began studying towards ACCA. Clare continued her studying at a large firm and qualified with first time passes. Clare has since started marking the advanced audit paper for the ACCA.
Jude King Assistant Practice Manager
Jude qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993.
For 15 years she has worked in the media industry in positions ranging from Accounts Assistant to Financial Controller in TV production, Advertising and Satellite TV. She has also spent a couple of years in plastics manufacturing for a US company based in MK (and helped set up their operation in Belgium) and 4 years as Project Accountant for a Call Centre operator. Her last position before joining Connolly Accountants was a 5 year contract with a specialist manufacturer in deep foundation construction (£11m t/o), as Company Accountant and Company Secretary.She also set up their US branch operation in Kansas City, Missouri and helped start the UK subsidiary in Contract Piling.
James Pritchard Accountant
James is a Chartered Certified Accountant qualifying in 2009. He has worked in accountancy practice since 2005 starting as a trainee in Stoke-on-Trent before moving on to London and now Milton Keynes. He has also been a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians since 2006.
James is an all-round accountant with experience of preparing the accounts of both incorporated and unincorporated entities, auditing, taxation and payroll.
Lucy Lumb Assistant Accountant
Lucy is an AAT Technician and is currently studying towards becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant.
She joined Connolly Accountants in July 2008, and is involved in producing year-end accounts, taxes, audits, and management accounts at the Stony Stratford office. Prior to joining Connolly Accountants Lucy worked in local Government for three years as an Internal Auditor.
Jan Masters Bookkeeping VAT & Payroll Manager
Jan has worked in banking for 10 years, 11 years in industry as financial controller and has also run her own business for several years. She has been with Connolly Accountants for more than 3 years and is responsible for book keeping and payroll. She manages a team of 3 accounts assistants.
Karen Russell Accounts Assistant
Karen joined Connolly Accountants in January 2010. She has run her own business in the past and has in total over 25 years bookkeeping & accounts experience. She sat her AAT exams in 2002.
She is involved in the preparation of Vat Returns, Bookkeeping and Payroll
Kim Cooper Accounts Assistant
Kim is a trainee bookkeeper and is involved with the administration of client documentation.

Garrie Brandon-White Practice Manager
Garrie qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and was admitted as a fellow of the institute in 2000. He has extensive general practice experience with small to medium sized companies. He has also held senior financial positions in the leisure & IT industries and has been involved in the audit process for cold room suppliers, builders’ merchants, engine filtration companies, employment agencies & solicitors.
He joined Connolly Accountants in February 2010.
Caroline Baldry Office Manager/Bookkeeper
After working for Barclays Bank plc for approximately 17 years, Caroline worked for her AAT qualification which she completed in 2008. She has been working in the practice since 2004 where she is responsible for bookkeeping and payroll for a variety of clients and businesses.
Julie Graham Accounts Semi-Senior
Julie spent 13 years analysing large corporates and financial institutions for merchant banks, mainly in London. She completed her AAT exams in June 2007. She has been working in practice for 3 years and has only recently joined Connolly Accountants. She is involved with the preparation of annual accounts, book-keeping and payroll.
Sarah Osmond Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant
Sarah started working for the practice 3 years ago when she left school. She has recently been awarded full AAT membership which she has been studying for during this time. She has just started to study for her ATT qualification which will lead to her CTA qualification. She is involved with the preparation of annual accounts, bookkeeping and payroll.
Clare Corbett Bookkeeper
Clare became an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Book keepers in 2005. Prior to this she worked for Santander for 13 years. She has worked for the practice for 3 years primarily on day to day book keeping and payroll matters.
